I am Stephen Hurt, an academic based at Oxford Brookes University in the UK. I have broad research interests in critical international political economy and development, especially with regard to Africa. More specific interests are in the political economy of post-apartheid South Africa, the trade and development policies of the European Union and UK-Africa trade policy post-Brexit.
